Everything you need to know before booking. Can't find your answer? Send me a message.

How much does a photography session cost?

Portrait sessions start at $350 for a 2-hour shoot with 40+ edited images and full print release. Wedding packages range from $1,800 to $2,200 for full-day coverage with a second shooter. Corporate headshots start at $200 per person. All packages include full-resolution digital files.

How quickly will I receive my photos?

Turnaround depends on the type of session: Portraits and headshots are delivered within 5 business days. Corporate events take 3-5 business days. Real estate shoots are delivered in 24-48 hours. Weddings take up to 3 weeks. Rush turnaround is available for most services at an additional fee — just ask when booking.

What should I wear to my session?

Wear something that makes you feel confident. Solid colours and muted tones photograph best — avoid busy patterns, large logos, and neon colours. Layers add visual interest. For couples and families, coordinate (don't match exactly). I send a detailed style guide after booking with specific tips for your session type and location.

Do you travel outside of Terrace?

Yes. I'm based in Terrace, BC and local travel is included in all packages. I regularly cover sessions in Kitimat, Prince Rupert, Smithers, and Prince George — travel fees apply based on distance. Destination work in Vancouver or elsewhere in BC is available on request. Travel accommodation and per diem would be quoted separately.

Do I get full print rights to my images?

Yes — every package includes full-resolution downloads and a complete print release. You own your images and can print them anywhere, share them on social media, or use them for your own business. No watermarks on delivered files. I retain the right to use select images in my portfolio with your permission.

How do I book a session?

The easiest way is through the online booking page — select your session type, pick an available date, and submit. You can also send me an email or use the contact form. Once we confirm details, I'll send an invoice for the retainer (25-33%) to lock in your date. The remaining balance is due on or before the session day.

What is your cancellation and weather policy?

For outdoor sessions affected by weather, we reschedule at no cost — I monitor forecasts and will reach out 24 hours in advance if conditions look poor. For cancellations: more than 72 hours in advance, your retainer is forfeited but no further charge applies. Within 72 hours, the full session fee is due. Rescheduling is always accommodated when possible.

Do you require a deposit to hold my date?

Yes. A 25-33% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking. This guarantees your date on my calendar and is applied toward your total. For weddings and larger projects, I can split the balance into two payments. The retainer is due within 7 days of booking confirmation.

Can I see examples of work similar to my session?

Absolutely. The gallery page showcases a range of work across weddings, portraits, corporate, sports, and real estate. If you want to see work specifically relevant to your type of session (winter weddings, industrial corporate headshots, family portraits in specific locations), email me and I'll send a curated set of examples.

Do you offer videography services?

Yes. Video is available as a standalone service or as an add-on to most photography packages. I offer wedding films, corporate video, short-form social media content, and real estate walkthroughs — all shot in 4K with gimbal stabilization and professionally colour graded. Visit the videography page for full details and pricing.

What equipment do you use?

Primary camera is a Sony a7 IV (33MP full-frame) with backup bodies. Lenses include Sony G Master glass: 85mm f/1.8, 24-70mm f/2.8 GM, and a 70-200mm for events and sports. For video work, I use a DJI Ronin RS3 gimbal. Drone footage is captured with a DJI Mini 3 Pro. All work is edited in Adobe Lightroom (photo) or DaVinci Resolve (video).

How are photos delivered?

All images are delivered via a private, password-protected online gallery. You'll receive an email with the link when your gallery is ready. From there you can view, share with family, and download full-resolution files directly — no app required. Galleries remain active for 90 days after delivery.

Do you work with second shooters for weddings?

Yes. For weddings, a second shooter is available as an add-on to ensure full coverage of both ceremony angles, getting-ready moments, and guest candids simultaneously. I work with a small roster of trusted local photographers. Second-shooter packages start at $500 for full-day coverage.

Can I book a same-week or last-minute session?

Sometimes, yes. If I have an opening in my schedule, I'm happy to accommodate last-minute requests. Send me an email or check the booking page for current availability. For weddings and large events, I recommend booking 3-6 months in advance, especially for peak summer dates (June-September).
